During the month of December, the work team at the Arab Center for the Sustainability of Civil Action implemented a targeted institutional development intervention plan for 58 Egyptian and Arab NGOs, where the team made a field visit For 39 civil society organizations according to the agreed upon timetable.
During these field visits the following was done:
Participation in the first meeting of the Institutional Development Committee formed by each organization and reviewing its roles and responsibilities for the grant.
Display the results of the pre-institutional evaluation that was conducted for the organization during the last period.
Review the executive intervention plan for institutional development activities intended to be implemented during the coming period.
Providing institutional support to civil society organizations in order to develop a number of institutional elements, including (work policies and procedures - organizational structures - program and project management - accounting system - volunteer efforts - financial resource mobilization - systems Governance - information systems) - according to the actual needs of each NGO.
It is worth noting that the grant services are provided free of charge to Egyptian and Arab NGOs, and the grant is in its second cycle, and applications for it were opened during the month of October 2024, and are offered The grant includes 179 Egyptian and Arab NGOs. In accordance with the announced standards and conditions, (53) Egyptian NGOs and (5) Arab NGOs were accepted.
