Eliminate poverty and its relationship to sustainable development.

Poverty is not just a lack of income, resources, and a permanent source of livelihood, but also includes hunger, malnutrition, difficulty in obtaining good education, social discrimination, and lack of opportunities to participate in societal decisions. Today, more than 780 million people around the world live below the poverty line, 11 % of them are in a state of severe poverty, and as the United Nations determined: "Individuals who live on less than $ 1.25 a day" and this is a number showing how many difficulties and suffering they face in life. That has set the United Nations the goal of "eliminating poverty" at the top of its goals to bring about sustainable development 2030, through efforts targeting the most vulnerable groups, supporting local communities affected by conflicts and disasters, and helping countries in causing development, especially since what distinguishes this agreement is the approval of all 193 United States member states on their provisions, in addition to hundreds of thousands of partners in all fields, which promises a positive step Great in the siege of poverty at the local and global level. Within the framework of the Egyptian state’s keenness to keep pace with sustainable development plans and its interest in eliminating poverty. It has implemented many major projects such as: "Takaful and Dignity", which serves approximately 4 million Egyptian families of low -income, also increasing the support rate. And the "decent life" initiative. In addition to the fact that national projects provided 5 million jobs, increased wages, and other important projects aimed at improving the standard of living of the individual and eliminating poverty. All of this contributed to reducing poverty rates, as it fell to 29.7 % in 2019/2020, and this is the first time that poverty rates have decreased in Egypt for more than twenty years, promising that sustainable development plans 2030 AD are on the right path in Egypt.
