This guide provides an integrated practical framework to support civil society organizations in preparing for and responding to societal crises and disasters of various types, including economic, social, environmental, health and natural crises, as well as complex crises. The guide stems from the realization that the nature of crises has become more complex and intertwined, and that the most vulnerable groups are the most affected, in light of challenges related to weak institutional preparedness, fragility of data, weak coordination, and the disconnection of urgent response from paths of recovery and development
