About “Rwaq Egypt Vision 2030 Forum”

An interactive virtual development forum was launched in 2021 to increase the awareness of parties concerned with the issue of development within society about various societal issues, especially issues related to sustainable development. The forum is held monthly in a session lasting approximately four hours. The topic of the forum session is determined in advance and interested individuals are invited from civil society organizations, government agencies, the media and researchers. ...etc. To participate in it, and in the presence of a specialized expert, the topic, its dimensions, and experiences on confronting that issue at the local and international levels are reviewed, then the attendees open the door for discussion on the topic and come up with recommendations and proposed solutions that are published immediately after each session of the forum.

The General Objective of the Forum

Spreading awareness about societal issues and linking them to Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals, working to propose solutions to them and how to activate those solutions on the ground through clear and specific mechanisms.

Sub-objectives of the forum

Highlighting the most important various societal issues, linking them to the sustainable development goals and Egypt’s Vision 2030, and developing a vision for trying to solve them.
Promoting dialogue and creating an interactive climate among development thinkers to cooperate in resolving pressing societal issues.
Exchanging various experiences among participants and disseminating various development experiences to enrich the state of interactive community activity.
Highlighting the best development practices and how to implement these practices on the ground and working to disseminate them.
Building a bridge of communication between those interested in societal issues, whether associations or individuals.
Organizing regional campaigns at the Arab level through coordination between civil society organizations to raise awareness of development issues of common Arab interest.

Offline workshops in the governorates where our offices are located on the issue under discussion.
Launching campaigns on urgent development issues related to Egypt’s Vision 2030.
