Training Courses in Institutional Capacity Building
Methods and tools for monitoring and evaluation of development projects
Training Description
One of the determinants of the growth of civil society organizations is the accumulation of experiences, building on them, repeating best practices, and treating deficiencies in performance on a regular basis, which will only be achieved if the organization has good follow-up and evaluation systems, as it is the guarantee that activities will proceed within the planned framework without deviation. In order to complete the effective follow-up process, this requires the presence of a good system for collecting and flowing correct data and information, analyzing them, and making decisions to modify the course. The evaluation process is also important in that it shows the extent to which the actual implementation of the activities matches the goals that were planned and comes up with success stories and lessons learned. As well as measuring the effects resulting from the implementation of project activities on the target communities and the extent of their ability to improve their quality of life. The presence of good systems for follow-up and control, monitoring best practices and treating deviation is considered one of the requirements for achieving institutional sustainability.
