Training Courses in Institutional Capacity Building
Professional competencies for a sustainable local development practitioner
Training Description
Competencies provide employees of NGOs with a clear understanding of the behaviors that will be evaluated and the levels of performance expected in order to achieve the required results. They determine the types of behaviors that the organization values, as defining a set of competencies for different positions clarifies to workers the types of behaviors required to achieve the comprehensive goals that support the strategy of NGOs. It provides the development practitioner with an indication of which behaviors and actions will be appreciated, recognized and rewarded, and can help them work effectively individually or as a team, leading to improved overall performance.
