The Mecca Charitable Foundation is one of the institutions of the Ministry of Solidarity, registered under No. 2018 for the year 2016. It is concerned with many fields, including the health field, social assistance, the field of motherhood and childhood, the field of the environment, the economic field, the establishment of economic projects to employ women, youth, and new graduates, the field of transporting the dead, ambulances, and the cultural field. It has many partnerships between the foundation and other civil society institutions such as the Resala Association, the Orman Association, and the Misr Foundation. Al-Khair, the Pulse of Life Foundation, and international institutions, including the International Seminars for Islamic Youth and the International Islamic Council for Da’wah and Relief. The Foundation obtained public benefit status. The Foundation has ongoing charitable activities, including (Mecca Specialized Charitable Clinics, Iftar Program for Fasting People, Sacrifice Programme, Holy Qur’an Competition Programme, Eid Clothing Program for Orphans, Food Basket Programme, Orphan Sponsorship Programme, and many charitable activities in agreement with charitable institutions. (Bridal preparation, Ramadan bag, medical convoys, feeding program, charity clothing exhibition) and others.
