Bio:
The Al-Zohour Charity Association in Balkanah is a civil society association registered with the Ministry of Social Solidarity under No. 1595 of 2011. It includes a group of cadres, volunteers and workers in its various agencies of both sexes, representing all segments of society. It offers many projects to serve the local community.
The most prominent projects implemented by the association in the last three years:
1- A project to help girls get married
It is a project that cares for orphan girls about to get married. We provide their needs for electrical or household appliances so that they can complete the marriage.
2_School bag project
The project aims to provide school supplies to the beneficiaries’ children and orphans in order to contribute to alleviating the financial burdens on needy families and the poor.
3- Iftar project for the fasting person
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: (Whoever breaks the fast for a fasting person will have a reward similar to his reward, except that it will not detract from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest)
4-Sacrificial meat project
It is a project in which the association distributes sacrificial meat to families registered with the association, including the poor and orphans.
5-Big Brother Project
In case the family loses the first breadwinner, the father, the association provides monthly sponsorship to the category of orphans sponsored by white hands to help them and assist them in securing their basic needs.
6-Ramadan carton project
The Ramadan carton is considered one of the association’s most important projects, in which the association distributes food cartons and bags to families registered with the association. The carton contains the main types of food.
7-Family sponsorship and care project
The association sponsors some families with the aim of meeting their basic needs and supporting them to cope with the burdens of living in order to achieve the principle of social solidarity. The selection is made according to the severity of the need.
8-Education Project
The association helps children and youth obtain a good education by contributing to the provision of free lessons, books, and educational materials.
9-Health care project for the poor
The association provides health care services to the poor and needy by contracting with all doctors in all specialties to provide free medical examination for the incapable, as well as pharmacies, providing treatment and medical examinations, and donating blood to the sick and injured.
The association presented these projects in light of societal needs to aim to provide a decent life for the community’s residents and in line with the state’s development plan and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
