The Local Community Development Association in Kafr Rabie is registered under No. 43 of 1966 and under Tawfiq Arwad No. 21121031903438. Its fields of work include: family and childhood, orphan sponsorship - consumer protection - social services and assistance - local community development - aging care - environmental protection - educational activities - humanitarian fields and among others. The most important activities carried out by the association are: a nursery with about 150 children, a Holy Quran memorization office, a tractor for sweeping, Hajj and Umrah, sponsoring an orphan, productive families, a public library. The association was also granted a grant from the Small and Medium Enterprises Agency in the project of learning, raising awareness, and eradicating illiteracy in cooperation with the European Union.
