    Al-Masry Association for Development and Training in Luxor, registered under No. 172 of 2010, is a civil society association operating within Luxor Governorate. The association works to address a range of societal issues through various development programs that include youth, women, children, and economic empowerment. The association adopts a participatory approach and design thinking in all its programs, which helps in consolidating the sustainable development approach. The most important projects implemented by the association: 1- “Increasing livelihood opportunities for poor families in rural Upper Egypt”: This project aims to empower women through training in handicrafts and providing financial support to start their own projects. 50 women were trained in entrepreneurship, and 50 women were financially supported to start their projects. 2- “You Are Here” Project: This project aims to support girls in Luxor by training them in handicrafts and marketing their products, while distributing surplus profits to them. This project was financed by the World Bank. 3- “Luxor Girls Work” project: It aims to create job opportunities for girls through training in handicrafts and a feasibility study. 4- The “Developing the Talents of School Students” project: It targets 300 children in 6 basic education schools in Luxor Governorate, and aims to enhance the values ​​of tolerance and creativity among children. The project is funded by the Sadat Society for Social Welfare and the Norwegian Embassy. 5- “My Precious Daughter” project: It targets 60 girls in primary and secondary education and aims to improve the educational level of girls through a child-to-child methodology, and it is funded by the Coptic Orvanz Authority.
