    Dr. Sarah Rashed from Egypt from the Mediterranean region. I am an assistant lecturer in basic applied sciences at the Faculty of Energy and Industry at the University of Technology. I am a researcher at the Japanese Egyptian Technological University in the field of 2D and 3D printing for water treatment and climate change. I am a graduate of the Sustainability Ambassador Program in Egypt and an Ambassador for Sustainable Development from the Ministry of Planning in Egypt. She has a master's degree in water treatment and published two research papers in top 10 journals on removing pollutants from water using materials science and nanotechnology and is a PhD student in climate change and climate change sensing of toxic gases. I was a delegate to Cop 27 and COP 28 and was awarded the highest prize for Outstanding Political Paper at Cop 28 in collaboration with Zayed University UK and the United Nations Development Programme. I am a member of Youngo organization. I am the technical officer and Vice Chairman of the Scientific Committee for the Engineers for a Sustainable Egypt non-governmental initiative that seeks innovation and sustainable projects. I am an international reviewer for academic papers in the field of water treatments and are first quartile journals. I am a businesswoman in the field of textile recycling using materials from water and producing new textiles. I am the president and CEO of a textile recycling and charitable development company that is concerned with collecting textile waste from factories and extracting raw materials to sell to other factories. I am interested in research, technology, sustainable projects and training youth and children to make them aware of the sustainable development goals. She was awarded the Best Distinguished Research Paper in Water Treatment at the 22nd Sustainable Development Conference for Materials Science in Egypt. I am a guest on television programs to talk about water pollution and climate disasters and their solutions related to sustainability. Also, the greatest developments that have occurred here in Egypt because they are the main cause of human health and building a strong society that protects our planet. I was a speaker at the PLASTEX 2024 International Exhibition in a symposium on chemistry and plastic waste and its relationship to sustainable development.
