Announcing the launch of a series of round tables on the role of civil organizations in achieving the sustainable development goals 2030

Yesterday, the first round table activities were concluded in a number of round tables planned to be organized during the coming period during the activities of the Misr Al -Khair Prize. The first table, entitled: "The role of civil organizations in achieving the third goal of the sustainable development goals 2030 concerned with" good health and well -being ", under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and many local and international bodies. The round table was organized in the presence of the representatives of the concerned authorities with the third goal concerned with "good health and well -being" from the governmental and private sector and international organizations in addition to experts in the field of health and sustainable development. The meeting aimed to open the door for discussion and dialogue between the representatives of the parties concerned in the light of three axes: - The first axis: the subject of health in the sustainable development agenda, the vision of Egypt 2030 and the current role of civil organizations in its achievement. - The second axis: national projects and initiatives in the field of health and the role of civil organizations in light of the challenges facing that vital sector. The third axis: the future of partnership between civil organizations and the governmental and private sector and international organizations in the field of health development At the end of the dialogue and discussion, a number of important recommendations were agreed on the proposals of work to increase the contributions of civil organizations in achieving that important goal, provided that a policy paper is formulated at the earliest time to be published and sent to the concerned authorities During the meeting, the launch of a series of round tables was announced on the role of civil organizations in various sustainable development issues.
