In numbers...a harvest of the activities of the NGO Development Program for the year 2022

Monday 1/9/2023 Within the framework of the Misr El Kheir Foundation’s keenness to activate its development role as a civil society organization, and the resulting intensification of various events and activities in the various programs of the Foundation, especially in the NGO Development Program, out of the Foundation’s belief in the importance of the role of civil society organizations in the development process and in celebration of the Year of Civil Society. 2022. The Foundation’s Community Associations Development Program collected a harvest of the various events and activities presented by the program during the year 2022, which were: Regarding the Civil Work Sustainability Observatory: • (4) round tables were held, attended by (165) participants • (4) policy papers were prepared. • (2) reports were issued. As for the lifeboat project: • (40) training sessions were implemented in (14) governorates, with a total of (583) beneficiaries. Regarding the Rwaq Egypt Vision 2030 Forum: • (8) sessions were implemented with the attendance of (3529) participants. • As for training courses: • (8) training sessions were carried out in (23) governorates, in the presence of (216) beneficiaries. For the sustainable climate campaign: (600) workshops were implemented with a total of (25,000) participants from (13) countries. As for the Misr Al Khair Award for Leadership in Charitable and Development Giving: • The number of applicants for the award this year from initiatives and associations reached (82). • The number of applicants from civil society work pioneers was (23). As for the development exchange program: • A number of (5) training programs were implemented, where the number of applicants was (2200) from (17) countries, and a number of (195) graduates emerged from them. As for the laboratory for developing the performance of civil society organizations: • The number of associations joining the laboratory reached (315) associations from a total of (20) governorates. • The number of field visits to partner associations reached (160) field visits. • The number of associations graduating from the laboratory reached (160) laboratories.
