Solidarity expects 20 partnership contracts with 18 civil associations to provide 50 thousand jobs

Yasser Badry Mrs. Nevin Al -Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, witnessed the signing of the Ministry’s opportunity program on 20 partnership contracts with 18 major civil and international associations and institutions to implement economic empowerment projects for 50,000 beneficiaries from the Takaful and Dignity Program and the rejected of the program. These contracts represent the first stage of partnership contracts with civil society to implement individual projects and valuable chains for 35,000 beneficiaries of Takaful and dignity beneficiaries out of 50,000 targeted in the governorates of Sharqia, Qalioubia, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, Sohag and Luxor, at a total cost of 400 million Egyptian pounds for the first stage, and the volume of funding is estimated at these proposals is estimated at about a total 780 million Egyptian pounds, funded by the World Bank. For her part, the Minister of Social Solidarity expressed her happiness at meeting development partners from civil society institutions with the aim of close cooperation and activating the effective and efficient partnership to contribute to the activities of economic empowerment of 50 thousand families, and this is called a real economic movement at the local economic level that supports the macroeconomic economy of the state. The opportunities for the work that are available are either by working with the soul by providing productive assets or implementing individual or collective income projects, or by opening job opportunities for others through training that ends with employment in companies, factories or any of the private sector projects. Al -Kabbaj stated that the electronic system of the "Takaful and Dignity" cash support program will be used, which supports approximately 14 million citizens of them approximately 17%, their capabilities can be enhanced to improve their standard of living. Al -Kabbaj also confirmed that the Ministry is in the process of deepening cooperation with the Financial Supervision Authority, with the Small and Micro Enterprise Development Authority and with Nasser Social Bank with other relevant bodies. It is worth noting that the opportunity program is the economic empowerment arm of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, which seeks to create decent job opportunities and implement economic and productive activities as an alternative source of income for the beneficiaries of the umbrella of takaful and dignity, and the program implements its activities in partnership and full cooperation with civil society organizations and societies and quality organizations affiliated with the United Nations in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
