Yasser Badri Saturday 3-5-2022 The Social Solidarity, Family, and Persons with Disabilities Committee, headed by Dr. Abdel Hadi Al-Qasabi, continues its second hearing with civil society leaders and executives for coordination regarding the year 2022 for civil society, in order to continue cooperation, partnership, and constructive dialogue with civil society, as it is an effective partner in achieving sustainable development goals within Egypt’s Vision 2030. The Solidarity Committee in the House of Representatives began the first days of hearing and confrontation sessions with civil society leaders, in the presence of a number of heads and members of the specific committees in the House, and the presence of the two representatives of the committee, members of the Solidarity Committee, the President of the General Federation of Associations and Civil Foundations, and member of the House of Representatives, Dr. Talaat Abdel Qawi, and more than 100 personalities from the heads of civil society associations and civil society organizations, in order to continue cooperation, partnership, and constructive dialogue with civil society as it is an active partner in achieving sustainable development goals within Egypt’s vision. 2030, Article 246 of the Council’s internal regulations stipulates for the Council committees, after the approval of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, to hold these sessions, on the occasion of their consideration of a draft law or a proposal for a law, or on the occasion of their study of one of the important general topics referred to the committee, and to hold these meetings in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during the activities of the World Youth Forum to declare the year 2022 as the Year of Civil Society.
