Misr El Kheir Foundation announces the opening of Apply for civil society organizations and institutions to work with the Misr El Kheir Foundation in implementing activities as an umbrella association, as well as to obtain a financial grant to implement community initiatives in the field of sustainable development and climate action with grassroots associations in the targeted areas.

Requirements for applying as an umbrella association

1. The association must be registered in accordance with the Civil Associations Law, and no less than three years have passed since its registration
2. That no judicial rulings have been issued against the association and that none of its projects have been stopped.
3. That the association has reconciled its status in accordance with Law No. 149 of 2019
4. The association must have a fixed headquarters to carry out its activities (ownership deed - lease contract - allocation decision or usufruct right)
5. The association must have previous experience in managing development projects and grants
6. To have an accounting system already in place (proven by approved accounts for the last two years)
7. Nominations from civil society organizations and associations must be submitted on their own without being nominated by other parties
8. Adherence to the deadline for submitting nomination applications. Applications submitted after the end of the application period will not be considered.
9. The nomination will not be accepted unless the applicant completes the required forms and attachments
