"COP16 Desertification Summit: Towards an effective role for Arab civil society in enhancing the resilience of Arab lands"
Hosted by Dr. Hoda Ahmed Al-Bakr
The session addresses many important points, namely:
1. Desertification trends in the Arab region.
2. Pioneering Arab efforts paved the way for COP 16.
3. A roadmap to activate the role of Arab civil society organizations in confronting desertification and its repercussions.
