The COVID-19 pandemic could now double that number, putting an additional 130 million people at risk of suffering from acute hunger by the end of 2020, according to the World Food Programme.
With more than a quarter of a billion people potentially on the brink of famine, rapid action is needed to provide food and humanitarian relief to the most vulnerable areas.
At the same time, profound transformation of the global food and agricultural system is needed if we are to feed the more than 820 million people suffering from hunger and the additional 2 billion people whose global population will increase by 2050. Increased agricultural productivity and sustainable food production are crucial to help mitigate the risks of hunger.
The World Food Programme's food assistance program provides a crucial lifeline to 87 million people at risk around the world. Their analysis of the economic and economic impacts of the pandemic identifies the potential impact of Covid-19 on the world's poorest people.

Target Group
Directed to existing development projects within associations, civil society institutions, and youth initiatives that have been more than 6 months in implementation and seek to participate in achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

2- Youth initiatives
Secondly - Appreciation Awards:
It will be an appreciation award for one of the pioneers of civil society work who has distinguished work and distinguished contributions to achieving the goals of sustainable development 2030.

First: Conditions for applying for the NGO Award
No judicial rulings were issued against her, and the association reconciled its situation in accordance with Law No. 149 of 2019.
2. The association must have a fixed headquarters to carry out its activities.
3. The final account of the association for the last fiscal year should not exceed 20 million pounds.
4. Nominations must be submitted by civil society organizations and associations on their own without being nominated by other parties.
5. Adherence to the deadline for submitting nomination applications. Applications submitted after the end of the application period will not be considered.
6. The nomination will not be accepted unless the applicant completes all forms and provides all attachments required in the advertisement. (According to the award guideline)
7. The application must be made from the Tanmwi 2030 platform only.
8. The winning projects cannot be nominated during the previous session, although it is possible to nominate the winning associations during the previous session with other projects.
9. Associations cannot submit projects funded by the Misr El Kheir Foundation
Second: Conditions for applying for the Youth Initiatives Award

The initiative must have addressed a societal issue related to the goal of the award and created a positive impact on society.

Innovative financing methods that enhance community participation and optimal exploitation of community resources.

Innovative solutions to address the problem and reach the target audience.

Innovativeness in the way the initiative is managed and the way the team works.

The number of those in charge of the initiative should be no less than five young people, taking into account the qualitative balance of the initiative team.
