The problem it addresses
Household waste is one of the biggest problems facing the community in Bir al-Abd because that waste causes damage to the environment and public health if left in the streets without organized collection. What increases this problem is the lack of specific places to put the garbage and there is no organized method for collecting this waste. There had to be rapid intervention by the association in choosing places far from population centers and training young people on how to recycle garbage and maximize the benefit from it
The direct target group of the project:
1,300 houses from the villages of the city of Rummana, North Sinai
