Under the context of a project to develop the profession of child care provider in Egyptian society and prepare qualified cadres in the alternative care system, the Aman Center has been offering since 2012 the first applied professional study specialized in child care, the “Professional Certificate Specialized in Promoting Children’s Development,” previously known as (Edexcel Certificate BTEC Advanced Child Development Promotion - Level Three), which achieves the development of thought, knowledge, skills and behaviors for caregivers, and a decent life for children outside parental care
The professional project focuses on providing specialized and intensive study over a period of 10 months in promoting child development and identifying, understanding and analyzing the various stages of child development (mental, psychological, motor, scientific and social) from birth until the age of 18 years while creating a supportive environment for the child.
The trainee acquires applied skills and the ability to use mechanisms and techniques related to scientific observation through the implementation of an extended longitudinal study on a child. The impact of the program is due to developing and promoting the profession of child care provider, determining a career path, and creating job opportunities in general for a job that is of utmost importance in Egypt
